About

Over 30 years ago, prior to starting the Beach Bakery & Grand Cafe, Simon Jorna worked at the Montauk Bake Shoppe. With the sale of the business Simon wanted to make sure that the new owners kept the business as a Bakery & Restaurant. Simon and the Westhampton Beach community could not have found a better person to take over the business. The new owner of the Beach Bakery & Grand Cafe is Rashid Sulehri who also owns the Montauk Bake Shoppe in Montauk and Villa Italian Specialties in East Hampton. With Rashid’s knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry specifically bakery, cafe and off-premise catering it’s a perfect match. We look forward to serving the residents of Westhampton Beach and the surrounding communities.

I love this place so much. Every time I'm in West Hampton, I have to come here. I definitely think this is one of the best bakeries on Long Island. Everything just looks so unbelievable good. Everything always tastes so warm and fresh-baked. They also make a lot of their baked goods in different sizes which is nice if you just want to try it and not buy an entire pie or cake.

They have a whole ice cream section that I wish we had tried but didn't really have the stomach room for after our lunch. We did take home a lot of pastries though to try.

The Napoleon was awesome. Needed a bit more thawing out because the cream was very cold, but still outstanding. The tarts were all really good as well. I loved the Key Lime tart so much. The eclair and cream puff were also pretty great. Well-made choux pastry. Light and airy. Great cream filling too. My award for best cream filled dessert though goes to the cream-filled croissant. That thing was just out of this world amazing. A must-try if you go here.

The chocolate mousse tart was also another one of my favorites. That, and the Jelly doughnuts. The doughnuts are so perfectly baked. A bit on the doughy side, but really worth the carbs.

They also have a nice lunch menu here that I need to try when I'm back in town. This place is pretty much the sole reason I will be coming back to the town of West Hampton. What a great spot!

Growing up in Westhampton Beach, I’ve been visiting the Beach Bakery for many years.. It’s always been the heart of this town, staying open through the winter and providing consistently delicious baked goods, coffee and food as well as a warm and inviting atmosphere.. The previous owner, Simon, was always present and ran a very tight operation.. I just stopped into the bakery for the first time since they changed owners and I will be honest and say that I could definitely tell that there’s been a change.. The window display didn’t have the same charm, the shop wasn’t as clean and organized, and the selection of baked goods was not what it once was.. Having said that, the food was still very good (not sure if the bakers are the same).. This was the only time I’ve been in, and I will keep an open mind and continue to support this business.. I’ve heard good things about the new management and I know this is still the place to go for baked goods and treats..

Went to the beach bakery on a girls trip in Westhampton. Loved the atmosphere! There was live music playing outside and lots of delicious baked goods! We had the cinnamon roll, cannoli and an assortment of cookies. Highly recommend the macaroon - it was the perfect combination of sticky and crunchy!

When you see their pink box, you know it's going to be good. Baked goods, gelato, lunch and live music on the porch. My favorite spot in WHB
